NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average"There are some things money can't buy." "Actions speak louder than words." My son happily attended MSBG from age 3 1/2 to 3rd. For 4th grade, he went to another private school I assumed he would attend through 12th grade. In Feb of 4th gr, I transferred my son back to MSBG. Because I am legally obligated by a contract to pay for the entire year at the other school, I am now paying for both schools. I decided it was worth the money to switch him back to MSBG because I realized by January that he was making no progress in math, reading, writing, or science at his new school. He was having a good time socially but was not challenged intellectually. His new teachers had little understanding of who he is or what he is capable academically. By contrast, the MSBG teachers love him as an individual and facilitate his growth as a whole person. He is once again thriving socially, intellectually, morally, emotionally. He is essentially being "home-schooled," but he is surrounded by peers and adults who genuinely care about each other. When I asked him how he felt about being back at MSBG after 3 months he said "I feel like I have woken up mentally again." I agree completely.Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - St. Aloysius Catholic Elementary and Junior High School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt Aloysius is a phenomenal school!! St. Al's has given my children the faith-based education and structure that I hope all parents would want for their children. All 3 of my boys have gone through St. Al's, oldest being 18 yrs. old now, and I still rave about it. The classroom sizes are smaller than most schools giving my child the one-on-one attention they need. The teachers, staff and principal care so much about each and every student. But most of all, my children have a safe place to go to every day, knowing issues of bullying, etc. are not an issue for them. They feel loved, cared for and protected by God, the teachers, staff and students! I highly recommend St. Aloysius!Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews
