"The Bryn Mawr neighborhood in Yonkers NY is very safe. The neighbors know each other. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years and I love it. The closest suburb to NYC. I can attend a Broadway show and be home in minutes depending on the traffic. Always parking and a very peaceful place to live."

"I see dogs being walked all the time in my neighborhood! I use to have my own dog when I first moved to this area. Lots of grass, plenty of walking space and trees around for a dog to enjoy! I myself enjoy going for walks by myself, haha. "

"People walk their dogs all the time. Dog owners are friendly and so are the dogs. Not a concern to live in the neighborhood at all. As a dog owner myself. I do not like to hear barking all day as some dogs tend to do. "

"Not a bad commute. Nice neighborhood, quiet, but recently, some kids have been fooling around by the school and have opened cars, taken things from that car and even taken another car, luckily found."

"Safe and quiet neighborhood. Perfect blend of urban and suburban living. Lived here on and off for 4 years. Need a car, but there's so much to do within shorter walking distances than most people in NYC deal with to run most errands."

"Not events oer se but they really take Halloween seriously here. The houses are decorated beautifully and people come from other neighborhoods to trick or treat. My daughter loves giving out candy as much as walking around because the people are so nice"
