This school is shockingly bad considering that it's k-6. Levels of violence. The principle has a "my hands are tied" approach and problem children fall through the cracks. Much of the teaching staff feel trapped. They're great people, but are permitted no control. Th city of Rochester school district is a disaster and it matches the city it's in. We're trying desperately to escape. There's no real support with a struggle.

As a former teacher at Nazareth Hall, I can attest to the sense of community at the school. You could not ask for a more diverse racial and cultural mix than the student body. Students were very empathetic to each other and all were treated as individuals. In my 33 years of teaching, I never saw he kind of tears of sadness on the last day of school because the students were really going to miss the togetherness. On other last days, most students were just happy for summer vacation.
