"The Parkways is solid, and provides a lot of active conversation and comraderie. While Dewey Ave. leaves a lot to be desired, Seneca Pkwy is a solid place to inhabit"

"It’s quiet for the most part but I actually don’t like the Apt I live in. Neighbors are quite noisy and animals are not a nuisance. "

"Great number of dogs in the area. People walk often with their dogs. Houses are close together so people will get annoyed at excessive barking. "

"The closer you live to Greece the nicer the neighborhoods gets. So I would say Ridgeway Ave and beyond. But if you living closer to Driving Park it sucks. "

"There are good and bad parts of this neighborhood. Check out where you are interested in more then once because your neighbors can also set the tone. I have lived here 20 years and growing up from a child to an adult here I have seen so many changes."

"Velox Street has declined greatly over the past five years. If you purchase a home on this street, do not expect it to appreciate in value as it is not a desirable street to live on. Parents do not discipline their children, who run the neighborhood out of control. Dogs bark for hours on end and much trash blows around."

"This is nice. It’s really a great neighborhood but I would not live it if I had a choice. There’s too many trees and mailboxes in not a big fan of it "

"I commute to the east side . So it’s very easy to get on 104 to 590 then 490E. I think it would be harder to get further west because of the heavy traffic on w.ridge and lake ave "

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen my oldest daughter attened from Fall of 1993 to 1999, the teachers got her from being a difficult student (she had ADD) to being a good student. However, now, with my 11 year old in 5th grade there, things have changed a bit. When I tried to enlist the school's help with my daughter's attendance issues, I got as far as a few rounds of phone tag with the school psychologist and finally decided my time would be better spent trying to address the issue on my own. Also, how can they give my daughter "Honor Roll" and "High Honor Roll" status, then turn around and say she is not meeting the stanards for ELA and needs summer school? This seems to be a problem with atleast a few of the RCSD schools.Parent Review15y ago36 Reviews - Nazareth Elementary

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former teacher at Nazareth Hall, I can attest to the sense of community at the school. You could not ask for a more diverse racial and cultural mix than the student body. Students were very empathetic to each other and all were treated as individuals. In my 33 years of teaching, I never saw he kind of tears of sadness on the last day of school because the students were really going to miss the togetherness. On other last days, most students were just happy for summer vacation.Teacher Review4y ago3 Reviews - Rise Community School
