"I have lived in this neighborhood for over 20 wonderful years. neighbors are friendly, caring, and care fortheirproperty. it's a great neighborhood for children. holidays are special especially during Halloween where the streets filled with trick or treaters. Christmas time is a wonderful time in Bellerose many families put Christmas lights in their homes. one year there were even Christmas carolers. you can't make this up. Bellerose is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Our school system is district 24, wonderful school system. my son graduate from Bronx science HS after completing Public elementary and public middle school. The local library is awesome for children and teenagers. They offer reading clubs, story hours for tots, and chess clubs for teenagers. I could go on and on. Bellerose also had a strong active civic community. The New Yorker magazine even wrote a piece on this hidden jem. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst off, This school is the absolute worst school i've ever been to in my entire life. Some teachers cannot teach! One teacher is always on her phone expecting us to do the work without help, and another just walks out of the classroom mid lesson! My kids grade is a whole year behind in ELA because the last teacher used AI to make the students work, and all they would do is read stupid books. they would have quizzes on the chapters of the books as well and he would ask stupid questions like “What color were the principal’s shoes?” The teachers do not give a darn about their feelings. If anything, they make you feel worse. They are also so nosey. Always putting their long noses where they shouldn't be. One teacher(will not say names) is so mad about an 8th grade student having a boyfriend. Both the children’s parents are okay with their relationship but she just has to be a loud mouth about it. It is none of her business. I need to mention the bullying. Absolutely atrocious! The bullying that happens here is absolutely disgusting! The teachers are so rude! If anything, these teachers need to be fired. They do not motivate any of the students and always say that they will not get into high school. I absolutely do not recommend those school unless you want your child to have a terrible education.Parent Review3mo ago20 Reviews - Yeshiva Har Torah
