"The number our dog parks. The freedom around them. The diversity of the species around them. Some may not like the lack of accountability to clean up after their animals. "

"It was smooth and easy because most of the time, I was having a good time. I played sports in the area and made some friends. Others have seen me around a lot, so they just know my face. Everyone is friendly but not the people to push room. Food is amazing. Parties are amazing. The pets in the area are calm. The nights are very relaxing. A lot of honest, strong, mean mugging, hard working people. Most beauty salon are worth it. Very romantic area. The old witchy cute men are my favorite. "

"Not a great place to raise kids or enjoy parks. The community is usually on the sidewalk bbq’ing and smoking during the summer. The winter months are slower but you still have to deal with car vandalism "

"None. I do not recommend highbridge to anyone. It’s not the same as it use to be years ago. I lived her for 20 plus years and the neighborhood has changed in a negative way. The young generation came in and tried to turn it into the hood. They have no self control around here"

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has failed my child on multiple levels. She was severely bullied, and despite bringing it to the administration's attention, nothing was done to protect her. She also showed little to none academic improvement throughout the year. I was forced to withdraw her with only a month left of school and begin homeschooling to ensure her safety and well-being. The "Charter School" name is misleading - the leadership and environment are far below expectations. The building was formerly a storage facility. The classrooms are cramped, and the lunchroom is extremely small. I would not recommend this school under any circumstance, and would strongly urge parents to consider other options.Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Ps 11 Highbridge

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRude, unprofessional, poorly educated school system. Those are but a few words to describe the experience I’ve had with this school. The teachers who are supposed to be the voice of reason are completely out of it. The environment we send our kids to should be clean, kind and free of judgement. I’ve come to the school a few times regarding bullying. However nothing has been done. My kid does not feel safe and the school has not done anything about it. This can’t go on for the sake of our kids safety.Parent Review5mo ago4 Reviews - Ps 126 Dr Marjorie H Dunbar

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience as part of this school community has been disappointing. No autonomy to do things that would help kids. No recognition for trying to create a classroom community that works. Teachers and staff that really try to make things better get torn down, called out, and often brought in for disciplinary meetings. There are no solid systems in place and no consistency from one year to the next.Teacher Review6y ago3 Reviews - Ps 199 The Shakespeare School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience as a parent at this school has been very welcoming and peaceful. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff are very nice and the children looks very happy and polite, they follow instructions and they work together. I am happy bullying is not permitted in this environment and the love of God is taught. The school is very structured with there learning curriculum and has help my daughter who was struggling in the public school to excel to the top for 4 years and is till making very good grades in her current 5th year. Thanks BMHS for helping my daughter see how smart she really is.Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Christ the King Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible everything is despicable about this school it’s sad to say that I spent 3 years at Christ the King when I could’ve went elsewhere, it was disgusting being there and depressing. The teachers always made the students she didn’t “favor” feel smaller as a person and as a whole. The 2017 graduating class was one of little classes to have very good grades as a whole, but due to our humor and positive demeanor we were punished, we never fought, or did harm to any of the teachers, we were just kids but the WHOLE school set out for us to be the “worst class ever”Other Review8y ago16 Reviews
