The school is doing poorly at teaching the children have absolutely no behavior and they treated my cousin wrongly. They fired a friend of mine for laughing. LAUGHING.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Midwood Montessori. From the very beginning, we were welcomed into a warm, nurturing environment starting with a very thoughtful and detailed tour. Over the past two years, our daughter has absolutely blossomed—not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.What makes this school so special is the deep care and intentionality of the teachers. They are incredibly loving, patient, and attentive, taking the time to truly understand each child as an individual. The program is thoughtfully tailored to meet children exactly where they are, supporting their unique pace, personality, and interests in such a sensitive and individualized way.We have watched our daughter grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence in ways that have exceeded our expectations. She comes home excited to share what she’s learned, and it’s clear how much joy she feels being part of this community.We are so grateful for the compassionate educators who have guided her so gently and thoughtfully. Their consistent communication, dedication, and genuine love for the children give us complete peace of mind. Choosing this school has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our daughter and we always look back fondly at her time there.

My son graduated from this school last year and it's one of the best catholic schools in brooklyn. The staff is very organized and the teachers are great. They show a genuine interest in making sure their students learn. I wish my son's current school operated like St. Gregory the Great Catholic Academy. It's affordable, it's safe, it's close to home and the principal and teachers are awesome. I wished the school went all the way up to grade 12. Keep up the good work St. Gregory.

I highly recommend Cortelyou Academy. My child attended both the school year program and the summer camp, and our experience was excellent. It’s a small, family-oriented school where I always felt confident that my child was safe, happy, and truly learning. The academics are rigorous, but the environment is warm and supportive. Children are challenged without being treated like they’re in the military (unlike that popular charter school). Cortelyou Academy has a great balance between high academic standards and genuine care for students.
