"There is a mix of “horse” property with larger lots and parks with Mountain View’s. There are several different types of neighborhoods. And groceries are not hard to get to. The schools in the area are also wonderful."

"There are events in our parks and at Floyd Lamb park that are fun. My family loves Gilcrease Orchard and The Farm. Halloween is great in our neighborhoods. "

"No events in my particular neighborhood. The people are not unpleasant, but really more of a keep to yourself neighborhood with the exception of people with young kids."

"There are no sidewalks in the neighborhood, the parks are decorated with stone, so they’re kinda like poop parks, there is no recreation facilities here, but it’s quiet."

"The Christmas decorations are beautiful. But being a Halloween person, there are some houses where the Halloween decorations are awesome. Our neighbors are friendly, and the kids are well behaved, polite, and respectful. The association has at least one festival day each year with hotdogs and games."

"People in my neighborhood clean up after their pets. And there is a nice park to walk your pets. Occasionally you may hear barking. But overall it's a pet friendly neighborhood. "

"There are dog areas with bags for clean up. Some people don’t clean up after their dogs but most do. There are also a couple dog parks nearby as well."

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI knew James Bilbray, he coached his son Kevin’s baseball team when I was a child in Vegas. He would be seriously dissatisfied in this “educational” facility. In fact, I’m sure he would have his name taken off of it. He was a man of integrity.Parent Review1y ago - William & Mary Scherkenbach Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had kids in this school for 8 years straight now. I would never move my kids anywhere else, even if I moved. Scherkenbach has the most amazing staff, facilities, and engagement for both students and families. I have always felt safe with my kids there and we have never had any issues at all with bullying or anything of the sort. They have recently even made more upgrades to safety procedures and equipment. Every single teacher we have ever encountered there was caring and really seemed to want to see my kids succeed. They offer so many great activities and trips for the students as well. I cannot recommend this school enough!! I seriously have NO bad things to say.Parent Review2mo ago - Thomas O'roarke Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my opinion, there are individual teachers and staff at this school who are helpful and professional, but this is overshadowed by the unprofessional and cold demeanor of the principal, Kody Barto.Teacher Review5y ago
