8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery nice school and great academics. My daughter attended kindergarten last year (and loved every minute of it) and will start first grade this fall. We love the school and the town. Mrs L was amazing. Thank you.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Abundant Life Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI appreciate that my child is learning about the Lord at school. Attending a public school was a nightmare with the teachers' and principals' lack of support, so having a new beginning at ALA is a Godsend. However, I am concerned with whether teaching is up to par with competing schools and state standards. Not all the teachers are certified or have even attended college to teach so the strategies are lacking as well as understanding the methods of teaching, reteaching, and meeting students where they are. There needs to be a bigger push on academics and possibly having students rewarded by being inducted into the Junior Honor Society to motivate and encourage young learners.Another concern is the high teacher turnover rate and the administrative team's lack of supervision in supporting their teachers' needs. Lastly, it is a Christian school and the superintendent is wonderful. I hope he is closely assessing where ALA can step up and become a reputable Christian school known for its academic rigor and development of future leaders.Parent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Good Shepherd Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is unprofessional. Went through the admission process since June 2025. Got everything they asked for: 2 letters of recommendation, 2 years grades, and 2 years standardized tests. Also needed an interview with the principal. I had to do numerous follow ups just to get an interview, which was later postponed. The week of 8/11 I finally went in for the interview. Was told I’d hear back on a couple of days. I was ghosted. No response. I followed up, no response. I could have sent my son to a different school. Totally unprofessional. They need to realize that this has an impact on my family. I expected better from this school. Also, the different seasonal uniform requirement are ridiculous.Parent Review9mo ago46 Reviews
