South Deerfield

I attended this school from the 1st grade to the 8th grade. I was a “good” kid and a “good” student who got straight A’s. As a result of not being the “troublesome” kid or genius I received no extra or special attention. As a girl, I obeyed the rules, got good grades and “was a pleasure to have in class.” Was I able to reach my potential? No. The teachers meant well but I was invisible, like many many girls in the school system. In addition, in grades 6-8 I was horrifically bullied and not one teacher advocated for me. Sadly, I would not recommend this school.
