What Locals Say about Sandown

  • John C.
"In the Stoneford neighborhood, all the streets are dead ends except for the main road in and out. Speed limit is 20, so it’s a good area for walking dogs and kids playing and riding bikes. Lots of families here."

"We have lived in Sandown for 10 years and love it. The schools are great and the teachers care. There are plenty of trails and back roads to walk and explore. Markets are close by and Old Home week is fun!"
  • CA H.
"I would never recommend Sandown NH. Constant power outages, property tax hikes, poor finishing work on some of the new construction houses, the local yocal town council sucks up to the police and fire department, way overpaid school system(no wonder property tax is always going up) reckless drivers etc.All the taxes dont even include trash/recycling pickup. Overall Sandown is just a nothing town with high taxes and a good amount of W trash type people...its' a joke"
  • igoe77
"This area has excellent schools, so it is perfect with family with kids who are still in school. Quiet and peaceful environment gives more privacy yet it has easy access to shopping malls and other facilities like doctors, etc. The surrounding area is growing rapidly with more commercial facilities. A great place to live and to invest."
