"Chesterfield Twp has a lot to offer. There is excellent freeway access with I-94 running through the Township between Detroit and Port Huron a 30 minute drive in either direction.. Located on beautiful Anchor Bay / Lake St Clair it is a paradise for boaters, sportsmen and water sports enthusiasts. With the Salt River running through the Township empting into Anchor Bay canoeing and kayaking are possible.. There are publics accesses, water front parks, a public beach, and marinas within the Township or close proximity (beach in New Baltimore public park). Shopping is excellent with the Waterside Shopping Center, many stores along the 23 Mile Road corridor, and Partridge Creek and Lakeside Malls a short distance away.Golfing is available at the Salt River Golf Course as well as many other golf courses in the area. "
