7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile this school projects an impressive public image, our firsthand experience revealed a significant gap between that rhetoric and reality. Behind the polished exterior lie systemic issues regarding student safety and academic support. I have learned of so many instances where bullying went unaddressed, leaving students feeling unsafe, while standard communication with teachers to keep students on task remains incredibly difficult. Most concerning is the school's rigid approach to diverse learning styles; rather than receiving support, children who learn differently are often labeled as lazy or disruptive. This lack of patience culminated when an educator explicitly made my child and their peers always feel that they were asking "stupid questions," fostering an environment of intellectual insecurity.I sincerely wanted to love this school, but navigating the administration yields little more than bureaucratic deflections and a distinct lack of accountability. The brilliant exceptions to this culture are the Band and Chorus teachers, who are exceptionally patient, dedicated, and passionate educators. However, one strong department cannot mask the fact that the school relies heavily on marketing over substance. There is profound room for institutional improvement, starting with communication, empathy for different learners, and administrative transparency.Parent Review1mo ago16 Reviews
