5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool is good but the teachers getting touchy with my children is a big problem, and everyone at that school just shrugs it off like it’s no big deal.Parent Review7mo ago12 Reviews - Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average0 out of 5 stars, after frequent meetings with staff(principal, vice principal, school psychologist, student counselor) a PARA EDUCATOR bullied and traumatized my daughter using fear tactics and power moves (she ripped up a book my 5 year old drew about her and myself for no reason since they refuse to tell me what happened), the investigation took LESS THAN 24 HOURS And the principal had the audacity to tell me that there was no evidence to prove the para educator did anything to my daughter. These are the kinds of people they have around our children. Then she had the audacity to tell me I don’t communicate with her teachers about her progress when it is in fact her teacher who refuses to respond to me! They try to label a kid who is just too smart for her class(as she and I have mentioned that she learned this stuff in pre k last year) as a special needs child. All the principal wants to do is get us to transfer her to another school instead of doing her job and focusing on making my child’s experience here better!Parent Review6y ago10 Reviews - Spencerville Adventist Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three children, and we've chosen Spencerville Adventist Academy for all three. Two of my children attended Montgomery County public schools for a portion of their education, so we have had a chance to contrast and compare. Spencerville Adventist Academy in outstanding on many fronts. My children are treated like individuals - they are cherished and academically challenged. The values they are taught are very good and the multi-cultural staff and student body work together well. It is large enough to have a great music program and sports, but small enough that students interested in being in the annual musical or on a sports team, can be. All in all, I highly recommend Spencerville Adventist Academy.Parent Review3y ago10 Reviews
