From the moment you step inside, you can feel the warmth, care, and dedication that make this school a wonderful learning environment.Principal Mr. Benjamin Mertes is an exceptional leader who goes above and beyond for his students and staff. His kindness, professionalism, and passion for education create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to succeed. The teachers are nothing short of amazing—patient, enthusiastic, and deeply committed to their students’ growth. My daughter absolutely loves going to school every day, and the programs offered are both enriching and inspiring. The sense of community here is truly heartwarming. If you’re looking for a school with outstanding leadership, dedicated teachers, and a nurturing environment, Franklin Elementary is the perfect place. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI homeschooled my child because I didn’t want them to go here but unfortunately I had to enroll them for 2 years, second and third grade before we just pulled them out. Administrators are really kind and nice but the school is poorly managed. They don’t communicate well. Teachers quit every year, every year it’s a new principle, good teachers are moved with unmotivated students and the bully culture is insane and there is absolutely no accountability for the tiny 7 year olds who are verbally and emotionally abusive. First generation children of African descent are mean to American Black children. It’s crazy. Even when you report them and they launch an investigation, you get a letter in the mail saying nothing will be done. We just decided to move to another county with better schools and better quality of life. Where were moved not only are the scores better but there is actual anti bullying campaigns. This school does nothing about the bullies they just tell the kids “it’s ok” and it’s not!Parent Review5mo ago10 Reviews - Reisterstown Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI know when reviewing your asked to rate 1 out of 5 but I wouldn’t even give it a rating of 1.. my son has attended this school since kindergarten, he’s now in second grade. The first year was ok with no problems 1st grade was very very different and now 2cd grade is horrible. My son is dealing with bullying almost every day since the first grade. I feel like the support that they claim to give is just to save their jobs or just to show on record that they tried to do something. The things that they are doing has not been effective for my son. I know that we can’t blame everything on the schools/ staff itself BUT the children that are there are horrible and the staff gets irritated when they see a parent at the school everyday . My son is experiencing the bullying in the classroom, hallways bathroom and school bus.. remind you guys he’s in second grade, he’s being bullied by 5th graders. He was beat up on the school bus by a 5th grader. The footage was gotten from the bus company and still this child is able to ride on the bus..and not to mention that when I called the police they couldn’t or wouldn’t help because they are minors, so I had to stop my son from riding. It’s awful! I know that everyone’s experience is different but if you’re thinking of sending your child think twice. Now I’m going through the process of getting a special permission transfer and there sending me through it even with that.. I’m calling schools and they’re saying that the special permission deadline has already passed. Soooo what’s the point of it being called a SPECIAL PERMISSION TRANSFER.. I’m confused.. I just don’t know what to do.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Timber Grove Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCons: Tons of behavioral problems with students, fights in the cafeteria every day, tons of bullying, and too many inexperienced teachers with no control of classrooms. Consider a private school: Arlington Baptist or Sacred Heart. Do your child and family a favor. Do not enroll your children at New Town ES.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Glyndon Elementary School
