My child was at this school for 2 year, she was repeatedly struck in the face by male students. The female teachers in both classes (both years) were also being repeatedly stuck by said students and them locking in the bathroom for safety. This was not communicated to us. We ended up removing ourselves from the school because of physical violence and total lack of communication from the school.

I have 2 children in St James. My daughter has is 1st and started in the young foxhounds and my son is in 3rd. This school is incredible. They give both my kids the education support needed for them to succeed. The class sizes are perfect for my kids as well. The teachers truly care about the kids as a person and not a number. They have plenty of days that include family. Their principal Charlotte is the most caring principal I have ever met. NONE of my principals or vice principals knew any of the names of the kids in the school way back when. I'd give this school 1,000 stars if I could. I do not have any special educational needs for my kids, so I can not rate that aspect.
