3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average"I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the administrative environment at Leith Walk Elementary Middle School. Despite the school's proximity to my home, I have found the quality of instruction and the staff's approach to student development to be inadequate. More critically, I am currently engaged in a dispute with the school principal regarding inaccurate information documented in my son’s permanent record. Despite my advocacy, the administration has refused to address or remove this false narrative. I urge other parents to proactively review their children’s files to ensure accuracy. It is my firm belief that the current administrative leadership prioritizes staff interests over the well-being and fair treatment of students. My son deserves an environment where he is not defined by false labels and where he has the opportunity to truly thrive."Parent Review3w ago11 Reviews - Northwood Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers here seem to think its a fashion show :) on the other side I had good experiences with my child teacher although for some reason I didn't meet all of them just the 1st teacher they see through the day .I do feel they share to many things with there students such as pregnancy related things I understand the excitement but some things I do not want my child to start wanting to be more curious about before the maturity is set in also such as what they do on there personal time etc while I do see that they trying to build a relationship with the students what about the parents because they are the one trusting you with there children during the day I only met one teacher out of 4/5 .I do take some accountability for missing back to school night but I'm sure I wasn't the only parent to do so I attended parent chaperone training's and still only met one . During bad weather they take a little long making it safe for the children to enter safely though I did see pictures on dojo they would show them in front of it during some removal. Did'nt receive much help with children mental health services not sure if this the only school that doesn't but the prior school my child attended was giving help with community resources etc..Parent Review3mo ago12 Reviews - Woodhome Elementary/Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageone of my worse years being here, wouldn’t go. I hate it . They want us to pay for almost every trip and we literally can’t have phones or hoodies and everything is more strict ,we need our old principal back not even to be mean ,I feel miserable and tired of being here, this school drains me to the bone and I just wouldn’t recommend this to any new comers I’m sorry , still love the teachers and the teaching is good but sometimes I feel we aren’t getting teach the right things or ways but i hope the kids next year have a good experience , also pls change that school up it isn’t fair to the middle schoolers we literally don’t have art anymore and the school and hallways our too small for us , maybe a second floor.Student Review1mo ago13 Reviews - Yorkwood Elementary School
