5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI know when reviewing your asked to rate 1 out of 5 but I wouldn’t even give it a rating of 1.. my son has attended this school since kindergarten, he’s now in second grade. The first year was ok with no problems 1st grade was very very different and now 2cd grade is horrible. My son is dealing with bullying almost every day since the first grade. I feel like the support that they claim to give is just to save their jobs or just to show on record that they tried to do something. The things that they are doing has not been effective for my son. I know that we can’t blame everything on the schools/ staff itself BUT the children that are there are horrible and the staff gets irritated when they see a parent at the school everyday . My son is experiencing the bullying in the classroom, hallways bathroom and school bus.. remind you guys he’s in second grade, he’s being bullied by 5th graders. He was beat up on the school bus by a 5th grader. The footage was gotten from the bus company and still this child is able to ride on the bus..and not to mention that when I called the police they couldn’t or wouldn’t help because they are minors, so I had to stop my son from riding. It’s awful! I know that everyone’s experience is different but if you’re thinking of sending your child think twice. Now I’m going through the process of getting a special permission transfer and there sending me through it even with that.. I’m calling schools and they’re saying that the special permission deadline has already passed. Soooo what’s the point of it being called a SPECIAL PERMISSION TRANSFER.. I’m confused.. I just don’t know what to do.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Timber Grove Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. Majority of the staff always have an attitude especially the front desk staff. It’s disgusting. They have mice running all around the school, the ceiling is missing because they decided to do an HVAC system replacement during the school year. So dangerous and unprofessional. Problems are never addressed in a timely manner until something serious happens.Parent Review3mo ago16 Reviews - Glyndon Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to be a student there big NOO,first the office workers one of the meanest people I ever met. The girls bathroom doesn’t have a locker at the main hall and that’s been the same since forever! But the boys bathroom do, the water dispenser never got changed the and grew mold , where the water comes out. The teachers were good could be better! And the employees are the worst they are lazy and don’t care about students. And the principal was nice but doesn’t care about the students! That’s it’s byeOther Review3w ago7 Reviews - Torah Institute

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has attended GFS since she was 3 years old, she is now 12 and still loves her school. The education she receives is top notch. There is something for all of the girls to get involved in. It could be horses, sports, the arts and more. GFS is truly an amazing school.Parent Review2mo ago14 Reviews - Sacred Heart Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI removed my daughter from Sacred Heart's lower school. My daughter has a learning difference and her teacher was less than interested in implementing her accommodation plan which is equivalent to an IEP. Instead of learning how to work with her differences, she was sent to the principals office on a weekly basis and made to feel like she's problematic. I notice this trend was affecting her mental state, so I requested a change of classroom, which was denied. Instead I was told they didn't have the resources to properly support her education and supervise her. We ended up withdrawing her from school. If your child is non-conforming this is not a good school choice. I was very disappointed in the way my child was treated and wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.Parent Review10mo ago65 Reviews
