9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children learned a lot from their early education teachers. This school does not welcome/embrace families!!! Many teachers are not montessori certified, are unprofessional. lack care for their students and have poor classroom control. Teachers/Staff support themselves. Some teachers are rude to students. The school building is shared with another school on campus so RGS are forced to share their space. The principal hand picks her staff. Children and parents are not taken seriously. There is a very strong sense of control once parents/families step into their school. Yet, their child attends the school! Sadly, this school is NOT what it is all hipped up to be. This is a way for the county to show they are providing equal education to all under an umbrella who is truly disfuncional. The PTA is involved and do their best for the students. If parents or staff try to speak up there seems to be a bullying type of action taken against those who report unfairness, complaints and/or concerns.Parent Review1y ago17 Reviews - Reid Temple Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend enrolling your child in this school. The administration appears to be more focused on financial matters than on the well-being and development of the children. The staff has demonstrated unprofessional behavior, and my four-year-old was removed from the school due to unsubstantiated allegations. The school does not provide adequate support or resources for children they perceive as having behavioral challenges. Michelle Taylor initially informed me that my son could not return because of these allegations, but later denied making that statement—apparently in an attempt to justify additional fees on what they claim is an outstanding balance. For an institution that identifies as a Christian academy, I found very little that reflected Christian values in their actions. I strongly advise parents to consider other options before enrolling their children here.Parent Review6mo ago20 Reviews - Washington New Church School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were looking for a new school for my youngest daughter after she wasn't doing well at her previous school (lack of support, disorganized staff, and outdated curriculum, to say the least). Washington New Church School was THE best decision we could have made! The school is small, but that doesn't disadvantage the children at all! The teachers know everyone by name, and all the kids are very close. My daughter learned many skills that she would not have experienced at her old school, and she came out a stellar student ready to take on high school. The school is diverse both in staff and students, and there are plenty of opportunities in the classroom to learn about different cultures! The school also hosts many community events and fundraisers that we love to attend and show support for! Our daughter loved her time here and still talks about it to this day as if she never left. All this to say, if you were thinking of bringing your children here- DO IT! You won't regret it.Parent Review7mo ago17 Reviews
