7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSeems to be the same as below reviews from 2017. Principal, Richardson, & secretary rude. Principal disengaged. I've also heard this from many other parents. No diversity in staff at all but the student demographic is diverse. Too many cliques between the teachers & teachers/parents who grew up in the area. Times have changed & this school administration needs to do the same, starting with the principal. The teachers I've experienced have been ok. Have heard stories of other teachers yelling at students. I understand stern when needed but not yelling!Parent Review3y ago11 Reviews - Waldorf Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe information on this school needs to be updated; this school only admits 2-5 year olds. My daughter attended Pre-K4 here and we are very pleased with this school. One of the reasons why I chose this school is because it was small and didn t have a lot of students, which I thought was the ideal environment for my daughter who was coming out of a small in-home daycare. The school is clean and has newly renovated bathrooms for the kids and they also have a full size gym that the kids use in the winter or when the weather does not allow them to play outside. They also have full time security on the premises. The Director and the teachers are attentive and my daughter loves them. She is sent home with homework every day, even on weekends, and they have a special project to do every month. She is thriving at this school. I would recommend it to anyone.Parent Review12y ago1 Reviews - Southern Maryland Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSMCA it a total-institution. No freedom. No regard for privacy. Sexism. Racism. Grim atmosphere. Rampant bullying complete with faculty who VICTIM-BLAME. Brainwashing, control. If you do not conform to their cookie-cutter molds, then they will outcast and demonize you. My biggest concern is the fact that this school prohibits free thinking, the most important aspect to individuality. In fact, SMCA discourages individuality. If you want to see this place in action, look up the Another Brick in the Wall music video.Bullying testimony:A male classmate harassed me. He spread rumors about me and defamed my character. When brought to the attention of the "dean of students", she insinuated that I was the problem, not the boy cursing me out and diminishing my reputation. She sent me to talk to the counselor which accomplished nothing, instead of taking action herself. The counselor went on to minimize my situation by denying that the boy was "all that bad". And despite the undertones of my story CLEARLY pointing to assault, she failed to treat my case with the seriousness it deserved. I am still in therapy. Oh yeah, aren't you supposed to be mandatory reporters? For the sake of future victims of this (total) institution, end the brick-making and provide justice for bullying and assault.Other Review3mo ago30 Reviews - Christ Church School
