I requested a team's meeting back in 2021 due to me seeing signs if something wrong. I expressed over and over to them that my child needs an IEP plan or even a 504 plan. They are no help. They do not want to accept the responsibility of my child being behind because they are blaming me for attendance and attendance is not the case my child missed 12 days throughout in entire school year due to Flu & Strap Throat Twice. Come to find out I am not the only parent that's fighting for help. My child is entering th 3rd grade and still no improvement and she's constantly being taught and remind at home. She can't grasp basic concepts hence of the learning disability come in AT.Parent Review3y ago3 Reviews - Mountain Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is small and family oriented. When I brought my Boys here I was concerned that the curriculum was not going to be up to standards with the surrounding public schools. Not only is their program is their program up to date, they are surpassing and their students are reaping the benefits! Their reading and math program are fantastic! They also have a fabulous theater and arts program. I love this school!Parent Review13y ago4 Reviews - St Pauls Lutheran School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Paul's Lutheran School has been the backbone and foundation for my children's development spiritually, emotionally and educationally. St. Paul's has been a wonderful community to be a part of for the last 14 years and it has been the best decision our family has made for the growth of our children. Thank you St. Paul's for everything you have done for us! May the Lord bless you always!!!Parent Review5y ago9 Reviews - St. Stephen School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience with this school was disappointing for several reasons. However, the teachers were amazing. Class sizes of around 30 students are simply too large, making it difficult for children who need additional instruction or individualized support to receive the attention they deserve. Accommodations for students requiring extra help appeared to be limited and when exploring what accommodations were available the school’s administrators failed to follow through with helpful information. Dismissal and pickup procedures were consistently challenging and time-consuming. For Pre-K students, pickup required walking through a parking lot on an incline, which was especially difficult during cold or inclement weather. This process can be particularly burdensome for grandparents, parents with physical limitations, or parents with an infant or other small children. Most schools have a drive up pick up routine. There were also several unexpected costs. Families are required to pay for children to participate in out-of-uniform days, and parents are expected to complete 20 volunteer hours or pay an additional fee if they are unable to do so.Most concerning was the school’s handling of serious issues. Leadership did not provide timely responses to significant concerns and ultimately stopped responding to follow-up emails. Additionally, I was troubled by what appeared to be a lack of regard for student privacy, as personal information was discussed freely. Based on my experience, there are significant areas where the school could improve communication, student support, privacy practices, and overall accessibility for familiesParent Review1mo ago38 Reviews - Open Bible Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOpen Bible Christian Academy (OBCA) has truly been a blessing to our family. For 25 years, with six of our children walking its halls, we have experienced firsthand the love, dedication, and Christ-centered care that define this school. The teachers at OBCA are remarkable—not only do they teach with excellence, but they also pour into the lives of each student with genuine love and commitment. It is clear that their greatest desire is to see every child grow, not just academically, but also spiritually and personally. That combination of strong academics and nurturing faith has shaped our children in ways that have carried far beyond the classroom. What has made OBCA so special to us is the sense of family. From day one, we felt embraced by a community that encouraged and supported us, and those relationships have been a source of strength and joy for decades. To be part of the OBCA family is to be surrounded by people who are invested in your child’s future, who celebrate victories big and small, and who walk beside you through every season. After 25 years, our gratitude runs deep. OBCA is more than a school it is a life-shaping ministry, and we will forever be thankful for the love, guidance, and dedication poured into our children’s lives.Parent Review11mo ago28 Reviews
