I am in love with this school (I'm a first-time rater).. this school offers a safe haven and vigorous education to my son, they keep him on his toes and best of all I get to login and see test scores, homework, and future assignments, they sent home feedback forms to let me know my son's progress, strengths and weaknesses that I can appreciate. My son has forbidden me to take him out of this school until after he graduates lol.. I 100% recommend this school.

Enrolled mid Pandemic because my son was struggling with online classes. Initially I saw him thrive back in the classroom so we kept him at Open Bible into the next school year. All year my sons grades were good. I didn’t hear anything from the teachers about any struggles. At the end of this school year, after I paid for the next year’s registration and 6 days left in the school year , I get a call from my son’s Eng/reading teacher. She said she’s concerned about my sons reading comprehension. I asked her what we could do with only 6 days left in the school year. She tells me to buy the summer workbook. I asked about a recommended summer reading list and maybe some resources for asking questions about the books so we could concentrate on the comprehension. She said she didn’t know and she’d have to get back to me. I never heard back. I followed up with an email, still no response. My sons grades and comments from this teacher all year did not reflect a problem but I’m curious why she waited Until the end of the year to tell me my kid had an issue. They got my 22-23 registration money and won’t refund it even though I was planning to send my kid here until I was blindsided by this teacher. I decided this was not the school for my kid. I applied to other schools and Mrs Greenlee said she’d send the records per my request at the beginning of July, but she sat on it for 6 weeks even after I called a few times to follow up. My son’s application was not approved at his new school until 10 days before school starts so now we won’t have his new uniforms and supplies in time for school to start, but at least Open bible has $500 of my money. I do not recommend this school. The cost is the same as other schools in the region but they don’t provide computers (other schools do) and they don’t have a real full service cafeteria. They can’t even get enough kids interested to have a middle school soccer team. The soccer coach just stopped showing up and communicating. Do your homework because there are better options!

I am an OBCA graduate and valedictorian. OB is inexpensive as far as private schools come but the quality of teachers and administrators is subpar. Stay at home moms are now teaching subjects to highschoolers. The strictness and forced Bible classes is very hypocritical when you actually get to know the people there. There is a lot of fakeness and judgment, of students and parents too. If your child is an overachiever, there is no outlet or accelerated class for them, in all honesty I was very bored my last 2 years of school and was not challenged. There are no extracurricular classes and sports and college prep is limited. You are better off putting your kids in public school and teaching them the morals you wish them to possess.

Each child is met where they are. Education is molded to fit the individual's need. The teachers take the time to get to know the students on a personal level.

This school is best suited for my students. Having one already graduated, I can tell you that the education is top notch.
