Kennedy Krieger at Southern High School was a great experience for my daughter who was in the Md. State Type II school system for 6 years. The administrative staff was strong and supportive. Opportunities abounded, were encouraged and were facilitated by staff for my daughter. My daughter took many main stream courses in the High School which was a great confidence booster and general growth experience for her. It would have been helpful for me as a parent to interface directly with the main stream teachers rather than having access only through KKI, which was a bit cumbersome and frustrating.
