Carlisle Station

The administration was unbelievably strict compared to any other school. I’ve spoken to multiple graduates from surrounding schools and I’m baffled how we were treated. The lunches were vile. I mostly ate from the vending machine because they served food prisoners wouldn’t eat. One teacher would argue with students for an entire period and wonder why our grades would be so low. There was zero attempt for positive connection with students and learning from teachers. Admins would rather play pretend police over letting students leave lunch to be with their friends. For months the bathrooms, yes EVERY single bathroom was locked without a way to enter forcing students to go into shop during academic time which would result in them getting in trouble. I’m in disbelief other schools allowed students to leave school for edible lunches while we got locked behind doors until the end of the day.We also had zero free time to actually work on homework while many other schools had free periods. Shop was the only reason to show up. Academic teachers were terrible at staying on track and loved arguing with students.
