Fort Independence

i was a student at this school last year (2021-2022) and most of the teachers weren't the problem it was the other staff. there were several times where i got harassed and assaulted and one time they didnt even tell me who did it so i could avoid them. after another incident happened they made ME wait in the office in the morning for weeks while the kids who harassed me were able to go outside. they also never payed good attention to me cause there were time where i would have scars on me and they didnt notice (care??) the counselors and math teachers were nice though and they were the main reason i kept going to that school. (if mr huynh and ms thayer sees this thank you for being an amazing teacher).

The Tynan is an amazing school with dedicated teachers and faculty. It is diverse, ethnically and economically, which is a huge strength for the kids as they play and learn together. The teachers are of the highest caliber and the student to teacher ratio is low. Low test scores can almost certainly be attributable to children who are learning English and/ or those who have learning disabilities. And I am so glad my children are learning alongside them.

My son has been at Perry for 5 years. Every teacher has been invested, caring, communicative, and demanding of the kids. Parents are all involved, friendly, and look out for each other’s children. Great outcomes have resulted! 10/10 school.

I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. It's the worst in the district and has been under state receivership for years yet has still been unable to turn their failing school around.

Great school!! everyone is welcoming, my daughter has been studying at Samuel Adams since kindergarten!! Today she is in the fifth grade, and I am very proud of her performance!!

EBBCS has exceeded my expectations. My son is learning and enjoying school. The teachers and staff are amazing and are always available to help/assist
