"I take the orange line of the MBTA in since I work on that line during the day. other than the usual issues with Boston's public transit, it's a nice commute. "

"I’ve lived in Back Bay for 2 years. It’s a very beautiful and convenient area. There are more tourists that I come into contact with than neighbors, however. Very dog friendly!"

"You have to be a millionaire to live in the Back Bay. So a lot of “regular” people who walk the dogs you see and clean the townhouses don’t live here they work here. "

"Dogs walk around a lot and their owners let them jump into flower beds and are generally careless. People with dogs will be right at home here, unless their dogs get into the bicycle lanes and get hit."

"Back Bay is a nice area. I really only recognize my neighbors by their dogs, because we often exchange dog names before we get to the level of actually meeting each other. Commonwealth Ave Mall is a great place to walk dogs or people watch. I live right next to Newbury Street, which can be super crowded with tourists in the summer. It’s a safe area but I have seen some shady drug deals going on occasionally. This is a city. So you’ll have that. Rent keeps going up and the neighborhood keeps feeling more like a shopping mall. The biggest win for me is the close proximity to the esplanade. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKingsley is truly an extraordinary school. I have never been to a place where teachers guide and support the children so well while also allowing them to take the lead in their learning. Because the classrooms are mixed-age, I feel it mimics real-life scenarios where you work with people of varied ages. I love seeing the older students mentoring the younger ones and the younger ones looking up to the older ones. The communication is spot-on and I always feel informed about events at the school, deadlines, etc. I think the last two-plus years have been tough on all schools, but the way I have seen the Kingsley community come together to support one another has been extraordinary. From the administration to the teachers to the parents to the students themselves, Kingsley has navigated the pandemic and all the changes in a professional, caring way. I feel thankful my child is able to have this learning and community experience.Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews - Kingsley Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has attended Kingsley for the past seven years and it has been a truly positive experience. The student: teacher ratio is out of this world and I can tell all of her teachers know her really well. The academics are outstanding and I'm really impressed with their math curriculum (they partnered with Lesley University on this) as well as all of the work they do in literature, science, grammar, and the arts. I love the outdoor time they get at Clarendon Playground and the Esplanade and the fact that they get to go to Boston University for PE. The after school activities are amazing and there are a ton of options for all grade levels. Overall, this school is a gem!Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews
