"i live in a building right off campus and feel pretty safe here. I have had a bike stolen (only had a cable lock though), but that is the only unfortunate thing that's happened to me. I regularly walk and bike around at night by myself and have never been bothered. it is a little noisy which i don't like. "

My son had to transfer to Cochran part of the way through his first grade year because of some problems at his previous school, and the Cochran community was supportive and kind to him from day one. The school is truly a community, he was accepted and shown love from the kids right up front. He had special connections with his teachers- I felt that they saw him for the individual he is and appreciated him. Anytime I had an issue the administration was responsive and helpful. Great school, would recommend to anyone.
