4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to Arlington Elementary from K to 5th. He had the worse experince ever. I got phone calls weekly from staff about the behavior of my son. I never understood because he was always well behaved everwhere else. We resently moved out of state. My son has not been wrote up one time since we moved and he is on the honor role. The teachers tried but the kids my son went to school with where not on the same social level or economic level as my family. Overall it was a nightmare!!! I`m so glad to be out of this school district. I tried to get involved to help not only the teachers but my son`s education. It was not really welcome. We went to all of his after school programs and it sickened me when the staff had to stand up and ask the parents to respect their children. The parents were talking during their child`s program. It was so sad.Parent Review13y ago4 Reviews - Deep Springs Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been to a couple schools unfortunately because we had to move a lot, let me start off by saying that this is by far the worst school she has ever been too. The bullying, segregation, and ethics are a huge problem here. Complaints made, but nothing is ever done, even if the kids get physical. The principle has a history of being suspended for three days for saying sexually inappropriate things, 3 days, that’s it. The teachers will not allow for bathroom breaks when needed even when my daughter was struggling with a uti. They are constantly asking for fundraisers and handouts for the other students and they will harass you and email you every single day about the fundraisers. They don’t care about their students, that much is apparent when they let the kids run wild like they do. Recess is not only recess for the kids but the teachers too, they sit and talk with each other instead of watching the kids missing when they bolt each other or get injured. The teacher has been taking things from my daughter, supplies that were provided her to give to the other students, most places consider that theft. 1 star is being generous, do your research on this place.Parent Review6mo ago10 Reviews - Dixie Elementary Magnet School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are so happy with our choice to have our daughter attend Dixie over our “highly rated” neighborhood school. The diversity and inclusion is incredible, as is the individual attention. My daughter will get a well-rounded education here. This is truly a gem of a school. (Also, despite the stats on Great Schools, Dixie has good test scores these days.)Parent Review6y ago6 Reviews - Northern Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are doing their best, but they got a new principle this year and family involvement has dropped to zero. There are no opportunities to meet other families with kids there and the PTA has vanished.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Yates Elementary School
