Stringtown

Harlow is now an Early Learning Center servicing Preschool and Kindergarten. The staff and teachers are AMAZING! I love this school! The environment is simply wonderful for the students. There are between 8 - 10 kindergarten classrooms, depending on enrollment. (The school was also remodeled last year and looks terrific.) It really does feel more like a family there. There could be more parent involvement, but that's not because there aren't opportunities. Parents are encouraged to participate in all aspects of their child's experience at HELC. BTW, they have the BEST speech therapist around. The teachers truly believe that every child can learn. It's a safe, loving environment where kids can explore and grow. Due to budget constraints there is no designated art or music teacher. However the students are exposed to both through an innovative use of the teachers and their talents. (The end of year Art Show was wonderful!) I consider my child very fortunate to attend HELC and I highly & enthusiastically recommend this school to anyone with a new kindergartener. It's a wonderful way to introduce your child to formal education and to help instill in them a lifelong love of learning.
