First, this review is very LONG overdue since my daughter graduated 5th grade in Aug 2025. However, it's given me time to gather my thoughts about what to say about this gem and put into the right words what an amazing school Century is. We enrolled my daughter in Preschool at three years old and likely would have stayed beyond our time there, if they had let us. So, here are just a few things I loved about our experience at Century School:The Staff: The Century staff are the finest humans to ever human. They are highly experienced, care deeply about their kids, and go above and beyond and meet the kids where they are in their learning and help guide them, so they feel successful and confident when picking up new skills.The Hours: If you are a working parent, you get it. School pick up is hard. They have your back w/7:30am drop off and 5:30 pick up.They teach critical thinking and self-reliance: The kids have chores; they have responsibility, they have a plan each day and the result is that they own equity in their learning experiences. Another plus is that the older kids also learn to tutor and guide the younger kids because the classes are mixed ages.You are a part of a Family/community: When you are a parent or student of Century you are a part of a family. Truly, I know it sounds cheesy but it’s true. Some of my most lifelong solid parent friends are a result of our kids attending century together. There is a bond and a community that is fostering there which isn’t comparable to any other schools.I would choose Century over and over again, to help shape my kiddo's foundational learning. My Kiddo is in 6th grade now and is still ahead in many core subjects because of the work they do with their students and I never ever felt like I didn’t know exactly what was going on with her education.
