"Every May, the town of Gardner hosts a garage sale weekend, people come from all over. The town also hosts the Johnson County Fair in July. The people of Gardner go all out for Fourth of July, there are lots of fireworks. Halloween is also great here as Gardner is very family friendly."

"We live by the freeway so it is always loud. But the neighborhood is nice and people are friendly. Very kid friendly neighborhoods and quiet if you don’t live behind the freeway. Schools are nice and clean. I recommend you move here if given the chance. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for a couple years now. Went to Baker, then got a house here in Gardner at 20. We did not realize it at the time, but after having a child, we noticed just how great it is for families. The schools are great, everything is nearby and the neighborhood is safe. Lots of kids in the neighborhood. It's definitely on the pricer side compared to KC, but worth it IMO. Commute to KC from Gardner isn't horrible, about 25-30mins. "
