I worked under Ben Markley as a teacher at a different Wayne Elementary school and he was totally unequipped as a school administrator. He might have the right degree but he lacks the sensibility required to run a school and manage its many obstacles. He’s been moved around the district rather than being fired for over a decade. This is very common in Wayne; they simply relocate poor leadership rather than address it. I can say with certainty that the bullying culture that exists at Robey is exacerbated by his total inability to support the student experience. Failed leadership trickles down and that reality isn’t lost on this poorly managed school. I’d think twice before sending my kid to any Wayne Township school, especially one run by Ben.
