Going downhill really fast. The bullying in school and then shaming by the leadership if reported is terrible. The droning on about 'equity' and not education related activities, performances, and art has made this an un-serious institution. We get it, you like to virtue signal, but it is killing basic math, reading, and science education performance. We are leaving the school ASAP.

Our son started at Pre-K 3 and now is in the 3rd grade. He loves going to school. His classmates are not all catholic which is not a requirement. Teacher to students ratio is far lower that in any South Loop public schools, so students get more personalized attention, improved academic performance, greater student engagement. Teachers can tailor their instruction to individual student needs, provide more one-on-one help, and identify struggling students more easily. Students also benefit from stronger relationships with their peers and teachers, which can boost confidence and a positive attitude toward learning. The student-teacher ratio has been found to be one of the strongest indicators of student success and engagement. School celebrates the holidays of other religions, so all students feel welcomed. Many parents volunteer and socialize and you can feel that they really care about the school.

I want to start off by saying that we are very lucky to have ended up enrolling with Pui Tak. Coincidentally, during the enrollment period at Pre-K, our son was diagnosed with a medical condition that requires substantial monitoring and management. We did not know what to expect when we informed the school staff, however they stepped up without hesitation and formed a planned with us so that our son could attend school and pursue his education unhindered (as much as his condition would allow, anyways). Additionally, our son is still thriving academically several years later. From my observations, the school excels in tailoring lesson plans to the individual student and addressing any needs that standout, whether academic or socio-emotional/behavioral. We are very grateful for the support that the school has provided our son throughout the years and look forward to continuing his education under the school's tutelage.

I love the school itself. They relocated last year and it isn't in the best area. The teachers really care but they seem to be overwhelmed sometimes due to the extended school hours. My child has been going to this school since 1st grade, and she loves it. The activities, learning courses, programs etc are all amazing. The only bad thing Is some children here can be a really bad influence, and they tend to expose other children to things that children should not speak of.

I searched all around Chicago to find a Christian elementary school that was highly-rated academically. I felt very blessed and thankful when we discovered Pui Tak Christian School. My two daughters began attending Pui Tak in 2023 and we have been extremely pleased. As a Christian family, we love that all the staff (teachers, counselors, principal) are followers of Christ and approach educating from a Christian standpoint. Students take Bible classes, pray together and attend chapel services as part of the curriculum and the school is committed to instilling Godly principles and building up children who have strong character and integrity.Academically, we love that the average class size is only around 10 students, so our girls receive a lot more hands on, one-on-one attention from their teachers than they would at a public school with 20-30 kids per classroom. The quality of the education is top-notch and very impressive. Most of the students end up testing at levels two grades ahead of their natural grade, and over 90% graduate was highly ranked high schools and universities. I would strongly recommend Pui Tak to any family seeking an outstanding private school in a totally safe environment that has zero violence, gangs, drugs, or other issues that plague most inner-city schools. Trust me, you and your child will love it.
