"Dog owners shouldn’t have much of a problem in this neighborhood. There are a few parks in walking distance that they can utilize for exercise. One issue is that there are stray “outdoor” cats. They mark territory and kill grass so a dog may be aware of these scents and I have seen behavior which a dog becomes nervous or intimidated by these scents or they can try and dig. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 3 years. It's a great, friendly neighborhood. There's little restaurants and grocery stores that we walk to every week. We see familiar faces around and make friends with neighbors. It's really a great place. The one negative thing is that it's a bit loud at times (airport) but you adjust pretty quickly, and the Midway-provided windows block the sound really well."

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBest school in the area hands down. I see previous old reviews of principal not being good, well this current principal is great, nothing like the old reviews. Teachers are for the most part great and comunicate with parents effectively. Only had one person give issues but after addressed to the principal have had no further issues. More is being offered at the school regarding activities and early start to doors being open earlier. Overall great school with great people especially for a city school. Overall great staff at this school.Parent Review8mo ago19 Reviews - Grimes Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my child's first year at this school. His teacher is fantastic! The curriculum is very rigorous and expectations are high. Lots of homework. I wish they could offer more after school programs or partner up with Devry, art institute, ECT.Parent Review8y ago4 Reviews - Blair Early Childhood Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is currently attending pre-k at St.Symphorosa. She loves her teachers Mrs. Pattenon and Mrs.Capparelli. After everyday at school the teachers updates you on the class dojo app, of what they accomplished through out the day. They add videos and pictures of your children during there most important moments during class. It really brightens my day to see my daughter grow everyday at St. Symphorosa. I highly recommend St. Symphorosa!Parent Review2mo ago58 Reviews - St Rene Goupil Elementary School
