"We have a block party every August. There is also a splash pad during the summer for the kids. Also people are VERY friendly and neighborly. "

"Slam quaint houses with families who will sit out on their porches. Friendly neighborhood with people who wave to one another. It would be better if through traffic slowed down. Children often play out in their front yards/street."

"Victory Heights is a great place to live, inexpensive but nicer than similar to the north and south. Seem as if the neighborhood has natural boundaries, so not many people pass through who don't live there. It is walkable to many restaurants and shopping."

"My neighbor bought new back in the 40's and had lived there their entire life. It has a mix of old and new families and is a tightly nit community. It's one of the few gems left in Savannah that is not under architectural control like the historic area. Plenty of shopping, movies, and restaurants nearby. It has a great newly renovated park and the neighbors are friendly. They are small houses but they fit just right if you know what I mean. Victory Heights is a back to basics neighborhood and truly has a vibe that is special. Even with the downturn in housing it seems to still sell homes relatively quick."
