UPDATE 1/24/2023: DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HEREHORRIBLE OFFICE STAFF AND PRINCIPAL SPEARS AFRAID TO TALK TO PARENTS AT HER OWN SCHOOL.I recieved a letter regarding my daughter attendance, so the below that was stated was never addressed. But I am being persecuted, treated like a second class citizen and almost arrested because I happened to wake up a few minutes late taking my daughter to school. So my daughter can be bullied, osctracized and picked on and nothing gets addressed. BUT AS SOON AS SHE HAVE MORE THAN 10 UNEXCUSED ABSENCES THAT WERE NOT EVEN DOCUMENTED CORRECTLY, I AM IN TROUBLE AS A SINGLE PARENT DOING IT ALL BY HERSELF.THIS SYSTEM IS BROKEN AND I PRAY IT GET BETTER.My child start going here August 2022, And when I had to jump through hoops to get her enrolled I should have known it was downhill from there and to be honest it shows the disconnect between parents and the school. My daughter was being bullied nothing was done about it. My daughter was written up, I wasn't told anything about it and only found out because I came to parent teacher conference one night. I addressed this issue with theTeacher, Assistant Principal and Principal even made note of it to superintendent office.Still to this day nothing is done. I made the decision to teach my child myself through virtual learning and encourage any parent with the ability to teach their kids, I would suggest you to do so. Unless your child is somewhat robotic they will not thrive in an environment DeKalb County Schools are creating for the children in this school.

My child had a teacher who was just starting their career teaching. It was not the greatest experience for my child. The teacher didn't know how to handle a lot of things. I was so happy when we got the opportunity to leave.

The loving teachers at Bits & Bytes provided my daughter a top-notch education. She attended Bits & Bytes from K5 - 5th grade and she is more than prepared for middle school. Bits & Bytes's loving discipline and sound curriculum are a breath of fresh air in DeKalb County.

My experience at this school has been horrible! My child has attended this school from him being a infant until kindergarten. I chose this school because of the wonderful things I did hear about it and I was recommended by a family member but i until my child reached kindergarten it has been a complete nightmare! The teacher he was the absolute worst she picked at my 5 year old the majority of the entire year she constantly singled him out for unnecessary things! It was never for behavior or his academics! She gave my child a 57 On a project that I helped him with and he told her that we did it together and she told me in so many words that I wasn’t supposed to help my 5 year old! I went to the director about this and she made it seem like she cared and would address the situation and nothing ever happened! This teacher went so bad that she purposely left my child out of pictures and things of that nature and when i asked about it she acted as if she couldn’t find any of the pictures i asked for but all the other parents got pictures of their children! And as of today my son was once left out on the awards ceremony on today 5-20-22 and it was another excuse my child is 5 he did nothing to anyone but this school and teacher made it that way. It’s very sad and disheartening to have experience this! I would never recommend this school to anybody!
