The white front desk lady with blonde hair is not professional at all. She always has an attitude when you walk in. I put my ID in to check my child out and she didn’t even allow us in the door, didn’t ask if we wanted to come in. When i tried to come in and open the door, she gave me a terrible attitude, she does not need to be working the front desk, AT ALL. I will eventually say something and speak with her boss because it’s ridiculous people can’t even be fake professional and want to try and give you a hard time.

Ive 3 girls and they all went to taylor elementary from first to 5th grade. Some with the same teachers some not!Ive nothing to say bad about that school! We always had good experiences with everyone! I love that my kids grew in an very big diversity of cultures and races/ethnicity because it made an more respectful environment to grow into! I would change nothing for that, it made a big difference on what have become and made so many friends from every countries! Their education has always been in the center of the kids and they always help them to thrive in! Big thank you to taylor elementary!

So far this school has been really good! My children teachers are great and they have so many activities and events all the time which we love! They are happy at their new school

Parents should know that strong, stable leadership matters. During my time at Woodward Mill Elementary, I observed exceptionally high staff turnover, which made it difficult to maintain consistency for students and support long-term academic growth. Many talented teachers and specialized staff left, and that kind of instability inevitably affects a school's culture and students' educational experience.In my opinion, Principal Sonia Brown placed a much greater emphasis on the appearance of the school than on instructional leadership, teacher support, and evidence-based educational practices. The building looked beautiful, but effective schools are built on strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to teaching and learning.Woodward Mill has dedicated teachers who care deeply about students, and they deserve leadership that values their expertise and fosters an environment where educators want to stay. I hope the district's new leadership under Superintendent Dr. Alexandra Estrella prioritizes accountability, staff retention, and academic excellence so the school can reach its full potential.

We as parents and our 3 kids love this school! Love every teacher, front desk as well as the assistant principal and Dr. Pugh is awesome! The only thing I wish would get better is the school lunch

My husband and I have had our 3 year old son at HCS since he was 10 weeks old. In each class, he has had teachers who truly care about him, his growth and understanding of the school curriculum. We love that it is a faith based school that directs children to learn Biblical principles. HCS is affordable and provides healthy meals and snacks for our son. We feel that HCS is an incredibly special school and are so glad our son attends daily.
