Posted by a parent on 2/20/2026I have two children attending Mckendree and we have been very happy there. Both of them are progressing beautifully and love going to school. The teachers we have had are responsive, caring, and communicative.

Second of 4th grade-5th grade not so much. not the same school that I have come to love. I kept my kids on a permissive transfer and don't think that my smaller kids will be back for 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades

My kids have a Dx of ADHD and the teachers wouldn't even do anything to document that for 1 of my kids. It was because his grades were fine, so it didn't need to be addressed.
