NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am in the center quite often due to changing work schedule and I spend time talking with the teachers. I have come in during 'reading circle testing' and I have seen VPK students actually reading!! The staff are very supportive of my daughter, who tends to have seperation anxiety when I leave. I have stayed a few minutes to peek on her and I have seen the teachers consoling her until she's ready to participate in the activities. It made my heart smile. I'm a happy parent, to say the least! :-)Parent Review13y ago2 Reviews - Joyful Noise of Pilgrim Church

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son who is now starting 10th grade has attended Port Charlotte at seventh Avenue school since second grade. It is a wonderful school with caring and loving teachers and staff very involved with parents and communication is good promoting home life and school life. I love it my son is there to do his schoolwork. He doesn’t come home with buckets his homework because his teacher has time to teach him.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews - Joyful Noise Learning Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was recommended to put my son in this school due to behavioral issues. Since putting him here, I have had nothing but problems and excuses and HORRIBLE communication from the staff. I alerted them about my son confiding in me about bullying multiple times and it's STILL happening. Nothing has been done. A specific teacher has antagonized him VERY FREQUENTLY, calling him "little boy", even after he has expressed that he doesn't like that and it upsets him, and even CURSING at him. For a school "highly equipped to handle children with special needs" they sure as hell let my son down. When he tries to talk to the asst principal, he's unavailable. When he wants to talk to someone, he's denied. He's being told he's lying about being bullied and that he's the one doing the bullying, yet the places he's telling me the bullying happens seems to not be supervised well. This school is a joke. I wish I NEVER listened to others and put him here. If your child has an emotional disability, I do NOT recommend putting them into this school. I am VERY angry with the way they handle situations and would rather home school him MYSELF than to make him go back. He's SCARED here and does not want to be there.Parent Review10mo ago4 Reviews
