Accountability is elusive and paper trials are curated with precision to shield the administration from scrutiny. Expect a tightly controlled narrative that (conveniently) omits key context, concerns, and evidence provided from the student/parent. Don’t believe me? Ask to review official records. Unfortunately, you cannot assume good faith. Decisions affecting student outcomes can be made without transparency, communication, or compassion. Critical meetings are rushed, imbalanced and tightly controlled - leaving families outnumbered, and little to no room for true advocacy or protection. In my experience, they have documented exaggerated or false claims in official records, denied parents access to Zoom recordings of key meetings, and more. If you believe the school district will act as an unbiased party, don’t be fooled. They rely solely on the school’s internal narrative- ignoring concerns brought by parents or students altogether. In my case, legal safeguards were sidestepped entirely to reach a predetermined outcome. Transparency and fairness? Nowhere to be found.Unless your child has a very strong adult advocate, they may have no real shot at justice within these walls. I urge any parent (especially those with an IEP, 504, or any emotional/behavioral challenges) to bring third-party advocates and legal counsel to any meetings. Record all communications and request everything in writing. At this school, documentation is weaponized, not used as a safeguard. And without legal eyes on every detail, children easily become the scapegoat for the school and system’s failures.Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Curlew Creek Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLake St. George Elementary’s, teachers and the administration has welcomed my children in with open arms! The school has very clear goals and objectives for the safety, learning and well-being of every kid. The teaching staff and administration along with the front office are always so warm and welcoming. My children’s test scores have risen so much since coming to the school.Parent Review11mo ago24 Reviews - Garrison-Jones Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey turned off their Google Reviews, that should tell you everything. This school is pricey and you will receive absolutely nothing of quality for your child. My child went to PMH for his first experience ever outside of the home. The first 3 days they called me every day to tell me he hit his head—I understand it’s a Montessori, but are the children seriously not being watched?I didn’t worry too much, as kids are kids and there’s a large group to be watching in daycare. My son came home 2 weeks later with a chipped tooth and no explanation.Fast forward, I go to pick him up early, and the children are playing outside. What I saw was shocking, to say the very least. The kids were all hitting and fighting each other, it was literally toddler fight night. Again, kids are kids, but where is the teacher?!?!The teacher was on her cell phone, which alarmed me immensely. I reached out to the director to share my concerns, and her response was that they needed to release my son, as he was overly aggressive.I don’t pretend like my child is perfect, that information was alarming for me and I’d never want him to be unsafe around other kids. However, this was several weeks into our time at PMH and his teacher daily told me how amazing he was doing, and I hadn’t received so much as an incident report, so I had no idea he was doing so poorly. We cut ties and were very happy doing so. I do not recommend this school to anyone, it’s not worth the price nor the headache.Other Review8mo ago52 Reviews
