"The Orlando Fringe festival, Spooky Empire both spring and fall, all the little pop up events that happen, for me it’s the spooky ones but there are all kinds."

"It is located between North Downtown Orlando, College Park, Winter Park, Audubon Park, and the Mills 50 District! All these areas are walkable or bikeable on one of the trail systems, sidewalks, and we have our own SunRail station. If you put in a SUP or kayak into Lake Formosa, you can paddle all the way into Lake Sue in Winter Park...5 miles round trip! Name another downtown area you can actively recreate like this! Many restaurants, bars, and shopping easily within a 5 minute walk of every home! An active and educated neighborhood association coupled with a fair mix of rental units although as those numbers are likely to go down due to the attractiveness of wanting to buy here."

"This is a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Its a safe environment for kids to be able to ride their bikes and there are lots of bike and scooter rentals all over the neighborhood. The only negative thing i could say concerning kids is that there is alot of traffic on Virginia so they would need to be careful"

"I’ve lived in Lake Formosa (Mills Park) for the past 2 years. It’s close to downtown Orlando and is within Orlando city limits. The neighborhood is growing significantly since moving here and the traffic is already heavy at times as this is also a thoroughfare for if something happens on I-4. It will become more crowded as the new apartment building projects are closer to completion. The infrastructure isn’t prepared for the influx of people. I’m moving."

"Lake Formosa is close to downtown Orlando and is actually within the Orlando city limits. It’s an older neighborhood with brick streets; apartment complex’s are going up in the Ivanhoe area such as The Yard - this area used to be a lumber yard/mill. "

"Great area for families, couples, singles, and anyone who loves homes that have character! Close to downtown Orlando and many restaurants, and places and things to do. "

"Great older Orlando neighborhood. Close to downtown. Close to Florida Hospital - the Orlando Museum and Science Center, but nicely tucked away - quiet neighborhood. "

"Lake Formosa neighborhood is hidden secret, we have our own lake with a foot bridge that leads to two museums, two theaters, and the Science Center. As well as quick walk to all that Ivanhoe Village has, many restaurants, bars and antique shops. You will meet most of your neighbors at the monthly and annual cultural events our wonderful neighborhood associations organize!!! Best place to live in Orlando! In addition the free Limmo will be soon to make accessible downtown Orlando. "
