"Privacy is the main reason for living in an area like this. The rural feel is important. No one bothers me."
  • JoAnna Levenglick
"Dogs stay on owners property since there is a lot of land for each owner. Dogs are never seen walking down road with owner on leash and there is no dog run since there is no need for one."
  • Jaenniapeavey

"Very peaceful, and great natural environment. Family oriented. It is a golf cart community and most of the neighbors are driving one. An IGA is just a few blocks from my house, and it is very convenient. Easy access to 429 and 6 miles to Mount Dora. Love to live here."
  • Helen V.
"I have lived in this neighborhood for a year, and is very safe, quite and relaxed. Great neighbors and a lot of kids. Love this place. "
  • Martine H. S.
"We were the 1st ones to build in phase 3 and we have lived here for 15 years. We love living here. Our neighbors are great. Downside would be that unless you are on a well, your cost of water is ridiculous. There are also quite a few renters now in the neighborhood. We are fortunate that our neighbor that rents, treats the house as if it were their own!"
  • Lisa Shoemaker Clark
"I've lived here since 2002. I've watched it grow from a dirt road community to a maintained paved road neighborhood where neighbors walk, run and ride their bikes. Everyone looks out for each other like family."
  • Jami M.
"It’s a very quiet neighborhood, nice spacious lots. Wish we had a community pool though, that would make it better. "
  • Valerie M.
"Since this is a big neighborhood u should keep ur child close so they don’t get lost and this Neighborhood doesn’t allow dogs to be tied up in the back and I don’t like that they should change it"
  • Lisa S. C.
"This is a quiet neighborhood where everyone knows each other and looks after each other like family "
  • Krystal B.
"I have a neighbor that likes to call animal control anytime a dog is loose! Other than her, Sorrento is perfect for pet owners. "
  • Vrodbear
"The mature oak trees ,and at one time there was a really nice golf course which now has been closed "
  • Mary
"You wouldn’t want to let dogs out untethered, especially at night, because there are coyotes that occasionally run through the neighborhood "
  • Annette S.
"My commute is long but manageable. a lot of construction work is being done. When it's finished traveling will be much better. "
  • Jerry A.
