"Safe and family-friendly surroundings. Lots of great family restaurants around as well. The area is well maintained, very walkable, and options for play areas are close by. "

"There are loads of sidewalks and nearby parks, but a lot people don’t pick up after their fur-babies. I love living in the area because it’s close to a lot of things and most apartment complexes have dog bathing facilities. "

"I have lived here for 25+ years. I love that every house is not the same and the lots are at least 1/2 acre. The only down fall is there are NO sidewalks. "

"Public transportation is terrible in all of Jacksonville. Too much traffic and rude/ aggressive drivers. One of the worst cities to drive in the country."

"Nothing, the city is the problem, Jacksonville is the most weird city I ever lived, thank God we’re moving next year! This neighborhood is okay but I don’t like because isn’t walkable, I mean if I want something I have to drive, it doesn’t have nothing interesting here in this area. "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy middle schooler attended Twin Lakes Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade, and her sister is a student there now since kindergarten. I am baffled and deeply concerned by the low rating of the school. My children have had an excellent education at Twin Lakes. The principal, teachers, and staff are engaged. They consistently invite and welcome parents and families into the school with various activities throughout the year. My husband and I are extremely happy with our decision to have our children attend Twin Lakes.Parent Review3y ago22 Reviews - Jacksonville Country Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Jax in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and enrolled our kids in JCDS (4th and 5th grades). This is the most welcoming, nurturing school my kids have ever attended. The kids here all feel very safe, which is important because the safety helps them to also build their confidence to become their best selves. In their short time at the school, they made many friends which was really helpful for my kids given our move to Jax and change of schools. This is not the most academically challenging school my kids have attended, and I would say this is the one downside of JCDS. Well done JCDS!!!Parent Review4y ago19 Reviews
