"I lived across Whitney Ave on orange street growing up and me and my cousin would walk up to east rock and go shopping at the little grocery. We did our laundry at suds and went to church on Lawrence st. We would go to state st and check out the little shops. It was a nice place to live. Unfortunately the area got a bad name because of a few isolated incidents!"

"The schools are good and I like to see the parents walking their children to school- moms and dads. There’s great restaurants and markets too. "

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been at this school for 10+ years and these 10+ years have been the hardest years of my life just bc of how the school has treated me and how I was treated by students and staff which plays a huge part in my depression and anxiety. They don't truly care for the students until it gets noticeably bad and will let your grades and mental deteriorate without saying a word, they only mention grades when they're so bad and don't understand the circumstances or the reason you've let it get so bad. So for any parent reading, please save your kids the heartache of attending this school, if you want them to enjoy even an inkling of going to school don't make the decision of bringing them here.Parent Review1y ago
