The principal and vice principal rarely recognize or acknowledge students’ achievements, even when they are shared with them. They are often seen walking around the building rather than building connections with students or providing meaningful support to teachers and staff. Concerns about bullying are frequently dismissed. In the upper grades, classrooms with 30+ students and little to no para support leave teachers overworked, administrators disengaged, and students struggling. Now, the district has even removed para support for special education students. The strongest part of this school is its teachers, who remain dedicated and continue to support and serve students despite the lack of administrative support. This school desperately need good leader who listens and support not a person waiting to get retire and counting days.

My son attended kindergarten and first grade at this school. Kindergarten was great, we loved his teacher. First grade was the complete opposite. He was relentlessly bullied by a student in his class for months. She was also bullying multiple people in this class! Every day for months he came home in tears and I had to call, message, and meet repeatedly with the teacher just be told “Well I talked to the student” or “Yeah, but the student’s going through a lot at home”.

We love the school and couldn’t be happier. The teachers have been amazing and our kids have excelled there.
