"Visiting after 40 years away, it is beautiful, clean, friendly and nicer than it was in the 1980s. Great place to live. "

"I enjoy the blocked off streets in Olde Town where you can grab a street beer and walk around to enjoy Live music, safely stay distanced and enjoy the day."

"Everyone is super friendly and it certainly feels like an unofficial rule that everyone has to have at least one dog in this neighborhood. Everyone is respectful and cleans up after their dog and there are lots of parks and trails!"

"if you're ok with walking half a mile from your car to your apartment, this place is perfect! when you move in, they don't tell you that there are twice as many cars as there are parking spots. don't bother paying for a parking pass because you'll probably end up in guest parking anyways (and even that is slim pickings). also, if you don't mind the sound of a train going off every 30 minutes right next to you, you'll love it here! the road next to building 7627 is constantly busy and the noise never stops. if you're lucky enough not to get neighbors with bass systems, you'll be fine :) and watch where you walk because no one picks up their dogs "leavings" around here. The property managers also can't seem to afford a bag of salt for the parking lot when it snows, so count on slipping around it all winter. 1 bed apartment is almost $1,500 a month - way overpriced for a BOX in the wall. utilities are not included in that price. the pool amd grill is a good half mile walk from the apartment too if you end up in the 7000s buidlings. oh, and you *have to* pay $35 a month for over the top "trash valet" service when you have to walk past the dumpsters to get to your car anyway. So, if you like the loud city life, dog leavings all over your shoes, ridiculous fees for services you never asked for and very bad parking and parking lot maintenence- this is the place for you!"

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and love it, the location is perfect, beautiful parks, convince of shopping/errands, ETC. But the landlord is a slumlord, our house is falling apart. it's sadly time for a change, but rent elsewhere is very expressive. It's a sad situation...."

"Olde Town is small, but it's also very trendy and full of different things to do. It has tons of different restaurants, opportunities for shopping, and it has a really welcoming atmosphere."

"There's a park conveniently located near the middle of Olde Town, as well as lots of places to take your dog on a walk to. If your dogs are skittish of people, Olde Town might be too crowded."

"Traffic varies depending on which direction you come from. Wadsworth is usually backed up or slow, but if you approach from the west instead, you can get to Olde Town easily."

"Olde Town is great for families because it always has tons to do and see. However, there is also lots of traffic and parents need to keep a watchful eye on their kids when anywhere near the street."

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLawrence has been our home school for the last 6 years. Mr. Benisch is approachable and professional and really cares about how the kids are succeeding. The teachers are amazing and the kids are well behaved (mostly). I can't say enough about how much we love this school. I'm so glad I have a kinder and this can be our home for 6 more years!Parent Review9y ago8 Reviews - Shrine Of St Anne School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageShrine of St. Anne is a welcoming environment for both families and students. Two of our kids have graduated from there and we have 2 more currently attending. The teachers are loving and supportive and are constantly doing extra work to push the kids to get a good education. My kids were fully prepared for Catholic high school, from study habits to Catholic faith/theology to educational concepts. They have been able to take Honors and AP classes and had no issues. This school has a true sense of community- all parents know each other and the kids - they have family functions (BBQ’s, fundraisers, etc) and always have great support for their athletics (former parents still are coaching many of the teams!) A lot of Catholic or private schools offer similar things and may even ‘specialize’ in certain areas, but I believe that the community is so important for a child’s social development and you definitely get that here! Until you experience this community- you can’t explain it… they rally around people in need, support people that are excelling and are prayer warriors when it’s most needed, and (most importantly) have so much fun!!!The kids can play school sports from 3rd - 8th grade with their classmates- what an amazing opportunity and experience! Kids get to try a sport they may have never played or get to excel and be a leader in one that they currently play and love! As a parent when I come to the school, kids will say hi on a regular basis and hold a door - that is worth every penny! Many parents that are sending their kids here are alumni and that says a lot! I would highly recommend this school to anyone (K-8) that wants an excellent (well-rounded) education for their child, is invested in their child’s education, would like them to build strong bonds with their classmates and as parents want to be involved with the school (more than just volunteering in the classroom).Other Review2y ago25 Reviews - Arvada K-8

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers at this school take the time to know and understand the kids. This is a tough school BUT kids continue to learn and catch up. I understand the scores are low here, but as long as us parents partner with the teachers, we can help our kids have pride in their test scores AND their grades.Parent Review8y ago5 Reviews
