Best school to get educated from, all teachers are amazing and helpful !

Perfect school, I loved the teachers and the school

I've had all three of my children attend Biella Elementary (2 still in attendance) - and I live out of the district. My sons have had nothing but the best of experiences with this school and have excelled in their studies. My middle child had some difficulty with his speech early on from 1st - 2nd grade, and with the help of his Speech teacher and his home room teacher, we was able to graduate early - and during COVID restrictions where we had school mostly online. The dedication of the students and faculty has always been the most exceptional! Both students and parents/guardians are supported at Biella! The community is diverse and full of culture and our families all support each other. Biella has always been a pillar of education to our community and being hidden away from the main road keeps us safer from main road traffic hazards. You will not be disappointed by sending your child to Biella!

JX WILSON is a neighborhood elementary school that it home to generations of Wizards. There are teachers who have been teaching for 40 years and still love it. The school goes above and beyond to support families, offer counseling, bilingual community liaison, Boosters club raises money to support field trips and class materials- which our government should fully fund, they have a counselor and an intern, they have sports teams, and after school enrichment. Cool School is the after school free program that supports students and families. No school is perfect but I know that my son is thriving and supported at JX and I am glad to be a part of this school.

Overall it’s a decent school for learning and the teachers are nice it’s just very bare minimum. School plays and events are done during school hours while parents and families are at work etc so it’s nearly impossible for people to make it without having to leave work. That also cuts into the kids learning time and educational priorities. There were only a few field trips and one of them was a trip to the park so I’m not sure if it’s due to budgeting or low funds. There’s little to no parking. Trying to come in and out of the school is really hard and there’s no nearby public parking due to the road ways. I don’t see any developments done to the school or any plans to fix the parking lot issue. My biggest issue with this school is the family activities, they are always done during school hours when parents are at work so I don’t see how that encourages family activities when most families can’t make it. Some fields trips we were notified that only a selected group of parents could attend. Talents shows, plays, conferences, open houses, etc in my opinion should be conducted after regular school hours. Everything is crammed and rushed and organized very poorly.
