I'm honestly shocked at the reviews here. Burke's has been nothing but phenomenal for my daughter. Her teachers have been supportive in all aspects of her education (academically, socially, emotionally and physically). The administration is present and responsive whenever I have brought up a question or concern. My daughter is a child of color and is lucky to be at a school where she is able to see other children that look like her and teachers that do as well. We are not of great means and we have chosen to spend our hard earned money on giving her this foundational education and its opportunities. We have never felt anything but welcome at Burke's by all members of the community and every day we are so grateful that our daughter gets to spend her formative years at a place like Burke's. I am also an Alum who appreciates that Burke's has found a way to progress while still holding on to its traditions and core values - the most important of which is helping girls grow into who they are meant to be.
