"There are not a lot of parks or playgrounds notably convenient in this area, but there is a place called Elementary Institute of Science or EIS which has good programs for kids including after school and summer camp."

"It’s peaceful and people keep to themselves. Residential and freeways are close by on the side where there is less traffic. "

"There is a small park close by. The streets all have side walks and it’s safe in the day. Dogs are very welcome within the community. "

"I purchased my home here last year. I’ve been remodeling it ever since. The lots are larger than most in South Park. Plenty of room to expand the current foot print. Stand alone garages and long driveways. There is an elementary school within walking distance. Many young families moving into the area as older residents move away or sell. Others have inherited the homes from their family and now are fixing them up to be sold. My Market is a small store that has meat, beer, and basic essentials for the house. The new owners have increased the selection and improved their products for sale. They also recently opened a restaurant within the store. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the city is also at the bottom of the hill on Home Ave. I personally see a bright future for this area. "

"Close to everything but far enough away you can go home to relax. Neighbors are really friendly. Perfect for families or couples who like quiet time or even retirees. Best part is the neighborhood seems to be getting better month by month with people upgrading their houses and such. Lots of people with pets!!! "

"While some of the surrounding areas need some work, this enclave is well kept and occupied with mostly adult residents who take care of the community. While it's mass transit options are limited, it has access to three major highways making it highly accessible. "
