"Far from the freeway but easy to get around. Lots of public transportation stops close by and clearly defined bike lanes "

"I don’t know much except from visiting here for a week with my son. I love this little neighborhood though, it feels safe and is pretty quiet. "

"Dog owners can be opinionated. Whether they’re dog is unmanageable or they think yours is a threat, there is a lot of crossing the street to avoid contact. I find it very unfriendly to walk around with my two dogs, both of whom are well trained and friendly. "

"There are tons of dog owners here. There’s even a dog park in the area. It’s really cool, and for the most part the dog owners are cool. Some are straight up A-holes."

"10 minutes from work. I hate giving up my parking space since there basically is no parking. and San Diego. wants to take out all the parking for a stupid bike lane that no one will use!"

"It is safe, beautiful, friendly and has a real neighborhood feel. Great for children but caution children to be careful crossing streets as some drive too fast. "

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!The school administration and the dysfunctional school board have displayed an alarming lack of communication, leadership, and support for students, parents, and teachers. Important information, such as teachers resigning, staff layoffs, budget cuts, and horrendous test scores are not relayed in a timely or clear manner, leaving many parents feeling lost and frustrated. There is a noticeable absence of strong leadership, with decisions made without input from those directly affected. Parents are not welcome on campus or in classrooms. The lack of support further exacerbates the situation, with students, parents, and teachers feeling neglected and undervalued. The administration does not assist the teachers with behavior problems, often ignoring calls for help and refusing to reprimand students for bullying, hitting, disrespect, and inappropriate language. The administration must take immediate steps to improve communication, provide effective leadership, and offer much-needed support to ensure the success and well-being of the entire school community. McGill is not a safe space for students, parents, or teachers.Other Review2y ago9 Reviews - Albert Einstein Academy Charter Middle

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't see it on the list but this review applys to AEA Elementary:Our daughter is entering 3rd grade, and we’ve been part of this school community since kindergarten. What we love most about the school is the strong sense of community, the second language exposure, and the German cultural aspect that makes the experience so unique. Our daughter especially enjoys the creative opportunities offered through art, music, and performance. She recently participated in the talent show and is excited to be part of a German play this year. The project-based learning approach and IB curriculum have also been a great fit for her learning style, and she genuinely loves going to school. While the recent leadership drama has been distracting, the heart of the school is still its community. Even through those challenges, our daughter continues to thrive and loves her teachers, classmates, and overall school experience.Parent Review1mo ago28 Reviews
